Abstract：At present, acoustic emission examination of commom steel pressure vessels is already extremely widespread. And the technology is already quite mature. But it is also few that the acoustic emission technology monitoring the aluminum and stainless steel pressure vessels during hydraulic pressure testing. Two kinds of these vessels have been used quite widespread in certain areas, so the corresponding examination and monitoring is extremely important. This article mainly discussed the acoustic emission monitoring of aluminum and stainless steel pressure vessels to find out acoustic emission characteristics of these two kinds of vessels, and in turn to be applied in the examination of pressure vessels in service.
